One Act Night: Drop Dead Juliet! & Mythically Mythical Myths

Join our narrators as they journey back in time to the world of Shakespeare and Ancient Greece.  In these comedies, we visit classical tales with a twist.  First, Juliet is tired of her tragic ending that Shakespeare has written for her.  Threatening to reveal to all of Shakespeare’s characters their tragic endings, she rewrites his story of Romeo and Juliet.  Can Juliet rewrite her tragic fate of her star-crossed love story to have a happy ending?  Next, we are transported back to some of the greatest Greek Myths set in Ancient Greece.  From love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, Psyche and Eros to the tall tales of Hercules, the narrators are having their own Olympic Games to determine who is the best narrator.

Warning:  We work hard to make the staging age appropriate for middle school and this story is a comedy.  It does touch upon subjects of death and suicide.  If you are concerned about the content, I highly recommend reviewing the story.
