Lincoln High School Drama in association with Playwrights West presents

The Lincoln Drama New Works Festival is in its 20th year! This annual production always offers a unique opportunity for young writers to pen plays about teenage themes with all teenaged characters to be played by teenaged performers. In this season’s festival, four playwrights investigate: what are the ways in which we compete? Why do we feel a need to do so? How does competition play into the need for status? Power? Success? What does it mean to score… and to win… or to lose? The pieces span multiple genres and styles – from drama to comedy to thriller to the surreal…
