Sweeney Todd School Edition is a dark musical thriller with mature themes. The story includes references to murder, death, revenge, cannibalism, imprisonment, mental illness, exploitation, and threatened violence toward a woman. Violence is stylized rather than graphic, and sensitive content is staged with care and restraint.

Although this is the School Edition, families should consider whether the material is appropriate for their students before purchasing tickets.
