This special event features two wildly different—but equally electrifying—productions performed on different dates and times throughout the same weekend. Audiences are encouraged to see both shows and experience the full range of what musical theatre can be.

Both productions are powered by stellar student casts, showcasing incredible vocal ability, comedic timing, stage presence, and heart. Whether you love laugh-out-loud comedy or high-energy pop concerts, this weekend has something special in store for everyone.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
A charming, fast-paced musical comedy that puts six delightfully awkward middle-schoolers (played by teens) in the spotlight as they compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Filled with laugh-out-loud moments, heartfelt surprises, and audience interaction, Spelling Bee is smart, funny, and unexpectedly touching.

SIX: Teen Edition
From Tudor queens to pop icons, the six wives of Henry VIII take the stage to remix history in this high-energy concert-style musical. Packed with powerhouse vocals, bold choreography, and modern pop flair, SIX: Teen Edition is a celebration of confidence, resilience, and reclaiming one’s story—performed by a fierce and dynamic cast.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Content Advisories:
Includes mild language, comedic references to adolescence, and light sexual innuendo presented humorously. Audience participation is optional.

SIX: Teen Edition Content Advisories:
References historical themes including divorce, execution, assault and features mild language with a contemporary pop attitude. Adapted specifically for teen performers and audiences.
