Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew is a comedic exploration of courtship, roles of men & women in society, and societal expectations. The play centers on Petruchio's attempts to "tame" the strong-willed Katherina, also known as Kate, and mold her into an ideal wife. Meanwhile, Kate's sister Bianca navigates her own romantic relationships.
