A sensory-friendly performance at Making Light Productions is a welcoming, inclusive show designed for audience members who may benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment. During these performances, we make thoughtful adjustments such as lowering sound levels, keeping house lights partially on, and reducing sudden effects. Sensory kits are available for patrons who may find them helpful, and character sheets are provided to help audience members know who they will see on stage. Audience members are free to move, make noise, or take breaks as needed, and they are welcome to step out and return when they are ready. A calm, judgment-free atmosphere is encouraged for all.
