Content Guide: May not be appropriate for younger children due to themes of adult language, highly suggestive mature humor/innuendo, sexual references including both slang and clinical terms for male and female body parts. Haze and strobe effects will be used. We encourage you to use your best judgment based on your child’s age and maturity level.

Something Rotten! takes on – in very light manner – antisemitism, reference to the Nazi Government (in reference to the Sound of Music), the treatment of the poor, corrupt leaders in the church, and the place of women in Shakespeare’s time. It also takes on these issues as they are depicted in Shakespeare’s plays and poetry. None of these reference are intended to cause harm or be offensive in any way.

All students involved in the production are aware of these themes and have received signed parental consent to participate in the production.
